B. Long lasting luminous powder
a. Product description:
The proportion of long-acting luminous powder is 3.6, the material is rare earth element, the material itself is non-toxic and harmless, and does not contain radioactive substances.
b. Product characteristics:
Luminous powder is a pigment, which can be used in plastic injection, oily ink and coatings. The afterglow luminous time is more than 10 times than that of ordinary luminous powder. It has good weather resistance and can be used indoors and outdoors.
c. Recommended dosage: (example: film-forming 20 μ m. Plastic molding 0.2cm)
5%~30% w/w (25%) for oily inks and coatings
Used for plastic injection and extrusion 5%~15% w/w (10%)
d. Precautions:
There are three main taboos for the use of long-acting luminous powder: 1. Avoid contact with water. 2. Avoid direct contact with metal. 3. Avoid direct friction at high temperature.
Precautions for application of paint and screen printing ink:
◎ Use neutral or weakly alkaline transparent resin.
◎ In order to reduce the problem of luminous powder precipitation in luminous paint, high viscosity resin must be used, and anti settling agent must be added. Before use, it needs to be stirred evenly. Diluent can be used to adjust the viscosity, and heavy metal compounds cannot be used as additives.
◎ The printing background color is mainly white or reflective, which can improve the brightness and luminous time of the printed pattern.
◎ Screen printing, in order to obtain better luminous effect, it is recommended that the mesh should be 80~120 meshes.
Precautions for application of plastic injection and extrusion:
◎ When the long-acting luminous powder is directly injected, an appropriate amount of white wax oil, lubricating agent and other additives should be added to make the luminous powder more uniform with the plastic.
◎ Try to reduce the chance of luminous powder contacting with metal wall.
◎ The background color of plastic material is mainly light color, fluorescent color or transparent color, and its luminous effect is better.
C. Short acting luminous powder
a. Product description:
The specific gravity of short-term luminous powder is 4.1, the material is sulfide, and the light absorption and emission time is short.
b. Product characteristics:
Short acting luminous powder is pigment, which can be used for plastic injection; Water based and oil based inks and coatings. Its initial luminous intensity is strong.
c. Recommended dosage: (example: film-forming 20 μ m. Plastic molding 0.2cm)

D. Microcapsule luminous powder
a. Product description:
The microencapsulated luminous powder is coated on the surface of the powder of the long-acting luminous powder with a polymer shell material to prevent the long-acting luminous powder from directly contacting with water, resulting in oxidation reduction reaction and loss of luminous function, and overcome the problem that the long-acting luminous powder cannot be used in the water-based system.
b. Product characteristics:
Microencapsulated luminous powder can be directly applied to water-based inks and coatings.
c. Recommended dosage: (example: film-forming 20 μ m)
5%~30% w/w (25%) for water-based inks and coatings
d. Precautions:
For coating and screen printing ink application precautions, the same as long-acting luminous powder.
E. Luminous masterbatch
a. Product description:
The luminous masterbatch is granulated by mixing long-acting luminous powder and polymer carrier to avoid the problem of oxidation and blackening caused by direct use of long-acting luminous powder in the injection and extrusion process.
b. Product characteristics:
It is easy to disperse and use, and can be directly applied to plastic injection and extrusion.
c. Recommended dosage: (example: plastic molding 0.2cm)
Used for plastic injection and extrusion 5%~15% w/w (10%)
d. Precautions:
The background color of plastic material is mainly light color, fluorescent color or transparent color, and the luminous effect is better.
4、 Supplementary notes
A. Particle size analysis: Type 1 is over 100 mesh, Type 2 is over 150 mesh, Type 3 is over 200 mesh, and Type 4 is over 300 mesh.
B. Various fluorescent agents or dyes and pigments can be added to the luminous powder to adjust the color before and after luminescence, and various luminous powders can also be mixed to adjust the color, but it should be noted that too many pigments will reduce the luminous effect.
5、 Other information
A. Storage and life: Store in a dry and cool place. Avoid using metal containers. The storage time depends on the moisture content. It will absorb moisture in the air. Pay attention to moistureproof. Too much moisture will turn white and form hard lumps. The storage life is 2 years.
B. Test report: The company's luminous products do not contain radioactive substances and pass the EN-71 and ROHS tests. It can be used in food packaging and toy manufacturing.
